Episode 49: Like C-3PO Gone Mad

Welcome to a new week!

In minute 49, Jason is on vacation, so David is joined by Todd Hartsell from Minute of the Apes, one of David’s favorite Movies by Minute podcasts. David and Todd discuss the donning of garments, and the terrifying, if wondrous, sight of golden hands closing around coats and hats. Todd teaches us about the language of 1970s film making. David spends way too much time reading the small print on the wall sized contract that Wonka presents to the finders of the Golden Tickets.

Episode 47: Head Canon on Fleek

It’s your mid-week candy coated, deliciously decadent treat!

In minute 47, we try and figure out how Charlie’s story came to be in the paper. Jason spins a depressing yarn about the newspaper business. We also discuss Willy Wonka’s introduction to each of the lucky kids who found a Golden Ticket, and his reactions to each of them. Jason’s been watching Bob Ross with his son, and it comes up here.

Thanks for listening, and we’ll see you on Friday to close out another week!

Episode 21: A Deadly Sin (In the Name of Love)

Happy Friday! To end the week, we discuss the nature of car dealer infomercials, and share fond memories of King of Cars. What does Violet do with her gum when she’s sleeping? And what does the word friend mean to Violet? Also, haven’t I seen that car detailer somewhere before?

Additionally, we respond to a Twitter comment, and discuss what might have happened to Mr. Bucket.

Have a great weekend, and come back next week as we continue to do this!
