Episode 100: Thank You

Welcome to the final regular episode of Everlasting Minute.

In Minute 100, we have the Wonkavator flying, and we get credits and a final fade to black. David goes through the credits, and talks about a recent field trip that he took to see the film in the theater for the first time, and details some time meeting Paris Themmen and Julie Dawn Cole.

Jason and David humbly thank everyone who has been listening as we’ve gone on this journey, and everyone who will find this show in the weeks, months and years to come.

We will be back at some point with more content…maybe sooner than you can possibly imagine.

Episode 91: Giving the Undertaker a Run For His Money

It’s another Monday, and another week of Everlasting Minute!

In minute 91, Dodo Denney is doing yeoman’s work with facial expressions and physical acting. She really knocks it out of the park for the less than 30 seconds she’s in. She is, of course, distressed at the thought of her son being put into a taffy pulling machine…which seems like a nice way of saying “The Rack”. We also get the final Oompa Loompa song, which is also the most dramatic and menacing. We decide that Grandpa Joe is the Honey Badger of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Also, Jason points out that this movie quotes two songs that would be released over 20 years later. We also discuss another Shakesperean quote.

Episode 26: A Habitual Disinclination to Exertion

It’s the middle of another week, and time for a sweet treat!

On today’s minute, we discuss the introduction of Mike Teevee (or Teavee, or TV, depending on your spelling preferences). Who are these ladies standing around? Does the Teevee family have maid service? Did Mrs. Teevee want them to bear witness to the glory that is Mike’s golden ticket win? What is Mrs. Teevee’s relationship with hyperbole?

See you Friday!
